What is the GameAbove Sports Bowl?
The GameAbove Sports Bowl is Detroit’s can’t-miss holiday football tradition. This year marks the 11th annual game at Ford Field, proudly hosted by the Detroit Lions. Each season, the event features powerhouse teams from the Big Ten and Mid-American Conference (MAC), creating one of the most exciting showdowns of the year. The participating teams will be announced on December 7. Stay tuned for the big reveal.

In 2024, the bowl featured the Toledo Rockets and Pitt Panthers in a record six-overtime battle. Toledo claimed a dramatic 48-46 win in one of the most memorable games in FBS history.
