Speed Mentoring is a fast-paced, interactive event that connects Detroit-area students with professionals from a variety of fields for brief, meaningful conversations. In just a few minutes, students gain real-world insights, career advice, and encouragement to help them reach their goals. It’s a powerful exchange where professionals listen, guide, and learn from the next generation of leaders. 

By participating in Speed Mentoring, you play a direct role in shaping the future of Detroit-area young people. You can help students see themselves in careers they may have never imagined. Your presence shows them that there are professionals who believe in their dreams and potential. Every mentoring conversation helps them take one step closer to college, career and beyond!  

• The speed mentors will rotate through small group conversations. 
• Mentors will share their educational and workplace experiences. 
• Offer guidance on topics related to internships, networking and leadership. 
• Encourage students to dream big work hard and achieve their goals.
