DETROIT — College Career & Beyond | Midnight Golf Program (CCB | MGP) is now accepting applications for its next program year, offering high school seniors across Metro Detroit the opportunity to gain college access and the support needed to succeed through college graduation.
The application deadline for the Class of 2026 is Monday, September 22, 2025, at 5 p.m. All interested students must attend a mandatory Open House presentation that same evening at 6 p.m. at Greater Grace Temple, located at 23500 W. Seven Mile Road near Telegraph.
The Open House serves as the official introduction to CCB | MGP’s highly regarded college readiness and life skills program, that is currently in its 24th year of impact. Following the presentation, students will be able to schedule their one-on-one interview appointments for program admission.
Interviews will take place from Tuesday, September 23 through Thursday, September 25 at the CCB | MGP Headquarters, located at 7441 Second Avenue in Detroit. The selected members for the Class of 2026 cohort will be announced by Saturday, September 27.
Eligibility and Expectations
Applicants must be in their senior and final year of high school (or in the final year of an approved 13th-year program). Students from public, private, charter, online and homeschool environments are encouraged to apply.
While academic performance is not a determining factor, CCB | MGP is looking for students who are motivated, respectful, and committed to personal and professional growth. Golf experience is not required, participants will learn the game during the program.
Accepted students must commit to attending twice-weekly sessions, held either Monday and Wednesday or Tuesday and Thursday from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. They are also expected to follow a professional dress code (golf attire) and conduct themselves in alignment with the program’s mission and values.
Selected students will be required to submit a copy of their high school transcript to confirm admittance.
